It isnt NATO that is the problem, it is and has been russia and totalitarian dictatorships they support.

Sovereign nations may join together for mutual defense, it isnt the right or privilege of another nation to invade one interested in joining any more than it is a theif's right to assault you because you reach for the phone to call the police. Trying to call the police is due to the theif's actions, not the victim and likewise Ukraine didnt invite attack and invasion by looking to protect themselves as they saw fit as a sovereign nation.

Clearly there's many people who strongly feel Russia did not have the "right" to invade Ukraine. That raises the question, when does a country have said right? The US has invaded many countries in the past few decades. Did we have the right to do so?

Not at all, just curious as to whether people will try to justify our actions while condemning others who take similar actions.
People in Texas used to say you can be "dead right" - ie you were in the right but the logical consequences of your actions are that you're dead.

It’s quite entertaining when people act like Russia is the only country that worries about what’s going on inside a neighboring country that they may perceive as a threat, as if we didn’t throw a fit when Canada decided to host the PLA for training not too long ago. Do as the US says, not as the US does, or something like that.

Also, what is right or wrong is very subjective.

Opinions aside; our Congress has overspent us terminally BROKE to the point that we can’t take care of ourselves.

The USA cannot continue to be the World’s policeman. Worse, the UN has become our greatest external danger, not Mother Russia.

Then there are the WEF and their NWO. . . . . .

Our great grandkids are already mortgaged.

    STOP meddling now !

Their neighbor? Small time. Us big boys will invade anywhere in the world. Who can stop us? We don't care too much about conquest anymore (we kinda quit adding territory a long time ago), we just want gov'ts friendly to us and our corporations.

Is this an attempt at suggesting that the difference between us and Russia is that only invade(so far) countries that don’t border us?

Which war in the last 120 years have we started with the goal of conquest, of adding a state?

The USA isn't perfect, but we ARE much better than russia.

so it was right of us to toss existing governments that we didn’t like and install our own puppet governments because we didn’t label them a state, and give them voting rights and congressional seats? Are you sure that’s the argument you want to make?

Yes, we are better than Russia, but it’s also important to be aware of our own history when forming an opinion about what is right or wrong.
