Damn. They really did close North Star Mall for 24 hours to clean. Give me a break. You cannot "deep clean" a mall in 24 hours. Are you going to launder all the clothes? Will the workers wear a full hazmat suit?
Feel good theater.

Not a mask to be seen....
Yep. And at the worst time for me. I am in the middle of a bunch of sanding and repainting, went through a lot of my stock, and now I can't replace them.Try to get g/n95 mask anywhere. The panic buying has already started.

Dibs on your Glocks.Heh. I’m getting on an aluminum tube on Thursday and going to CO to celebrate a friend’s retirement from the USAF, then returning the same way on Sunday.
My only precaution will be to imbibe ETOH. Industrial quantities for sure, but that’s it.

Pffft. That's what my Walmart in South Dallas looks like every single day, except maybe longer lines.Friend sent me this photo of HEB in San Antonio. Glad I have some extra food at the house. View attachment 203396 View attachment 203397
Not on the shelves in hardware stores either. Tried to buy some masks in anticipation of doing a refinishing project that requires a good amount of sanding. No luck anywhere near me. Went to Walmart to pick up a large bottle of 90% denatured alcohol - only had the small bottles the big ones were sold out. I guess folks are in a panic. What will be gone next - milk, eggs, butter, toilet paper! Not a mask to be seen....

And this gap is where one would look for disinfecting wipes and sprays:
