FBI confirms. They recovered 8 casings from the shooter. So he fired 8 shots.

If he fired 8 shots, where did they all go? If he fired all 8 at Trump, why wasn't anyone else hit?

I'm picturing a large crowd sitting or moving around and 8 bullets coming their way and no one
getting hit except Trump and one other person. There was metal seats and a large crowd of
people moving in several directions and no one else was hit by a bullet nor a bullet
bouncing off the metal stage. What am I missing ?

Iirc 10 shots can be heard, 2 are accounted for as LE, leaving 8 for the shooter, which is exactly what they found.

He had a mile of roof to his right... Casings don't go THAT far, even in grass even with small casings like 22lr or pistols the are not hard to find visually and if that fails metal detectors work like a charm.

Exactly. That's five of the eight, unless the "ear shot" went on to hit one of the other wounded (very possible).
It's not hard to imagine a couple might have lodged in the stage or whizzed past the tractor.
Has the FBI found all eight projectiles? I doubt it, and watching Wray today, doubt we will ever know.

Dutch was hit twice.

Copenhaver was next to Dutch, not sure if they shared a round.

And of course, unknown what Trump round also hit.

From my understanding, Mr Comperarore was hit and Trump was injured and the poor tractor was wounded.
The bullet that hit Trump went into the crowd, so that one bullet could have hit 2 people.
I'm not arguing with you, just trying to understand what happened. I know that when you fire your weapon
it will kick up and the shooter might not have brought his rifle down to bare and shot over the crowd instead on into it.
