Yes, and there is a front coming down that may impact Beryl's move inland.

I'm preparing for tons of rain and some wind for right now.
This will be the first storm that I won't be on hurricane duty for work so I'll be hunkering down with the wife and dogs "working from home".

I stay prepared. Gonna cut the grass in the morning the handle my weekly meal preps, might have my girlfriend and her teenage son and her animals come my way since they're closer to the coast.

At the rate the track is changing, I am thinking the NOLA folks had better start hunkering down. Landfall's gonna be in LA.

Gotten two flood warnings already from Montgomery county Sheriffs department.

They do the "chicken little" bit all the time.

Our strong wind lasted about 30 minutes, then it calmed down. Now it's sunny and mostly clear, dark way off to the west. I watched rain on radar and it's doing what it's supposed to do, counter-clockwise rotation taking most of the storm bands to the west and north of us. I'm happy with that.

I think Matagorda is going get slammed.

There was a good amount of storms by Victoria and east of Victoria. Looks like they're getting weaker because they were more severe earlier.
