I tried the tula one time. I had major issues seating them. 1 out of 3 would crush rather than seat. CCI's, Federal, etc worked fine in the same brass.I've used mostly win and once had 1000 tula. Less than 3% the wrong direction. I bought a couple hundred cci a while back and there was about 10% the wrong direction.
I did come across an old pack of remington kleanbore in a lot i purchased. Not sure i want to use them though. Dont know how old they are.
I have a small container full of primers i pulled from brass and loose primers i got in that lot. Anytime i smash one now i put it in there. Not sure what to do with them now though.

+1. Makes no sense.I don't understand why the old Remington primer packaging isn't used by anybody now. On edge with no row divider, just columns. Package was about 2"x2".
You could fit almost 800 packaged primers in a current Federal package of 100.
Me too. It could be one flipped or all of them. It makes no difference but just a second in the tray.Everything I put primers in is capable of flipping them so I never give it any thought.
Ya but i bet they can see the shine on that brass from a mile awayDammit. Left the tumbler on again. 4 hours too long.
Awh well.
Bought a Lyman primer pocket reamer. Small screw driver looking handle with a cutting bit.
The bit un-screws from the handle. The threads are the same as an arrow Ferrule. So, I screwed a ferrule backwards to catch the threads on the cutting bit. Thread protection the goal.
Stuck the cutting bit portion in a drill. Ferrule sticking out. It had a lip for the arrow tube. Ground that off while spinning the the whole thing.
Ferrell portion in the drill jaws. Spun.
Crimped primers suck.
Dammit. Left the tumbler on again. 4 hours too long.
Awh well.
Is this actually a problem? I leave mine on overnight regularly. Love that super shiny brass!
Better to wear out media than dies.I figure it wears out the media faster. I tumble cases three times. Before resizing. After trimming, pocket cleaning, deburred. Then the last being the completed rounds. I'm cheap. I want the media to last as long as it can.
Today's decision...I'm going back to hand priming. I can't get a good 'feel' using the press. Plus, I'd rather do nothing but pull the crank handle forward. The pull push thing has never settled with me. It's funky to the process. Ill hand prime the cases instead.
