Speaking of 22lr. I wonder how well .224 bullets swagged from the cases work.

I have a friend who makes bullets using this kit, and they have performed very well out of both of our rifles. I'd love to have the set up to do this, but the kits are very expensive.

    Crush, kill, mangle, maim, destroy.

Guess I'll be headed back to Bass Pro or Cabelas to see about that stuck brass thing.

I deprimed with a hand tool, wet tumbled, dried them and then used hornady one shot case lube. The first 24 went fine. Should I change the order?

No. The order didn't do it. I'd check the die bore for snags or machine mark rings.

I've never had a stuck case. Before I'd buy a puller. I'd screw a machine screw into the primer hole. Using a claw hammer and a vise. I'd see if I could pull it out. Drenching it with something like WD-40.

If the case won't budge. Fine, into the freezer it go's. Then I'd try again. If cold doesn't do it. Then I'd heat the case with a butane torch. Try again.

That basturd is coming out. One way or the other.

Put them in a zip lock bag. Spay the hell out of them. Close the bag, shake the bag.

A 1/4" - 20 tap and drill set, bolt, couple fender washers, and a socket. Same thing as one of those puller kits. You can pick the stuff up at Lowes or Ace Hardware.

Thanks! Save some gas and save some money. Is the 1/4' the right size for 223?

Measuring the diameter of the primer pocket. Where there's an abundance of brass in the head area.

1/4" tap is more then big enough to grab the drilled out primer wall. Purchasing the the thickest part of the case.

Buy a can of WD-40. Use a bunch. Lots....

That's what I tried but I guess I was a little too conservative with the spray. Should I let them dry fully?

Turns out it was operator error. Missed this part... in bold... in red.

Use something like Hoppes or go with something like WD40?
