    What kind of blowout??

Today I worked a couple more deals to get rid of all the reloading stuff I picked up. I should be getting a few hundred cast 9s and 45s as well as some cash and a set of 357 dies. Not all bad.

And yesterday and the day before I worked on 636 223 cases. Sized and reprimed, ready for powder and bullets.

Anyone have a pet 223 load they like?

What twist is your barrel? My goto loads are 69 and 77 gr Nosler Custom Comp bullets sitting on either Varget or CFE223. 1/2 MOA out of my AR15 Performance barrels.

I don't have a barrel yet. Rifle is still I the works. Was just thinking of some 55gr fmjs to have around for when I get it done. I have the brass and the primers so why not.

    Set up some dies.
Loaded my first batch of 357SIG.
    Loaded some 223.
    Loaded a few 308 rounds.

Now if it would just stop raining for a bit so I can get to the range to try them out.

After my 9mm run at naptime (for the baby) I spent a little while sizing some shiney 7.62x39 brass I picked up in a couple trades. It made me a little angry about the first batch of brass somebody told me how to clean... let's just say leaving it in a vinegar/salt solution for 2 weeks has made my brass ugly and I've learned better than to trust other people. Bought myself a tumbler after that.

Either way, got a couple hundred shiney ones ready for primers

dammit - reloading is a disease. Dug around in the bullet drawer and found some .223's and some .38 wadcutter bullets. Brass is being cleaned right now. Gonna order a pile of xtreme bullets tomorrow. I think it's wise to stock up with Hitlery coming. I was seriously one of the burn-ees after Sandy Hook. Learned my lesson.

Over the last couple of weeks I've alternated between breaking down 200 unknown 556 rounds I made and cleaning out my powder measure(by unloading it into cases, capped with bullets). Damn thing is bottomless!

also, have a pound of tac and one of cfe223 and one of vita something but will check out what it really is then look at what it's for.

Today I accepted the fact that nobody who shoots and reloads for 220 swift is interested in a case micrometer. Guess I'll keep it for myself then. I think I can get it to work on cases up to .277 or .284 and about 52-60 mm long.

Aside from that, receiving a box of a couple hundred nosler 308 150s and some 6.5s from a trade. Gonna have to find a load for the 150s in my ak

Started passing down the tradition! I remember sitting in the kitchen with my grandfather, eating a hersheys chocolate bar (he always had one on the counter and only ate one or two pieces a day), and watching him reload. I was probably 5 or 6 up until I was 13 or 14. My dad also reloads, but I didnt meet him till I was 23.

I've been working on converting brass to 300 blackout. Afterwards I noticed that my decapping rod was bent and had been for some time. So I resized all of my brass.

My daughter's enjoy watching me run the press sometimes. Sometimes they can sit and watch me for a good half hour or so. Sometimes they are in Trouble and I make them sit in the garage with me while I run it.

I have a tube running from the primer hole on my Lee classic down to a water bottle. Two of my girls could sit and watch the primer go down into the bottle all dam day if I let them.... They try to guess when one will get stuck and cause 3-4 to back up, then have them all run down at once.

I've let one of them seat some bullets for me before. Might let them size some 38 brass. It sizes even easier than the 9mm does!

yea, we were running a factory crimp on 9mm. he also loves using the magnet to seperate the SS pins from brass after tumbling and likes emptying the primer catch tube. the bottle thing sounds kike fun! I might have to give that a try!
