I was thinking of cfe223 because they have it at academy. Or h4198. I have that one on hand for my AK already. Maybe I'll try that Robert. I was planning on using regular old 55gr bullets. Whatever is cheap. I don't have a 223 rifle yet so just looking for a basic plink load really.

I actually just leaned about Americanreloading.com. they have some pulled 55gr fmjbt on sale last i checked

Ordered 1000 62g .223 bullets and 250 175g .308 Nosler Custom Competition bullets from Rocky Mountain Reloading because they are having an awesome sale this weekend. The .308 were 20% off and the .223 were 10% off!

I loaded 50 rounds of 44 mag and got to work making 300 Blackout rounds. I cut and formed what felt like 1000 pieces of brass. Enough to overflow a protien powder jug.

I continued to separate brass after I gathered all the casings I've shot and folks have given me. Not counting yet, but I've got a gazillion cases of .45ACP, 9mm, 38 Special, .357 Magnum, .223, etc., etc. It's gonna' take a while to separate based on manufacturers but I'll get it done eventually. If anybody is wanting some, I need some brass 7.62x39 for my CZ 527. I'll post what I've got when I get them all separated and counted. :green:

Sell your cz. Crap gun. Worth nothing. Only the other calibers were any good but the 7.62x39 sucks.

And since you won't be needing it I'll be a pal and take your 7.62x39 brass off your hands for my AK. I'm trying to save you the trouble. Just trust me. You don't want that brass.

Loaded up some match ammo today and prepped some 308 Palma brass for fire forming.

That is damn sexy. Looks a lot like my 6.5 Grendel. Collecting brass, Midway keeps e-mailing me to check out my dies on my basket.

Loaded up a couple of hundred rounds of 9mm.

These are 7mm-08 Ackley improved. 162gr ELD Match at 2799fps.
Nice! Is there any noticeable difference in accuracy between 7mm-08 and 7mm-08 AI? I've been wanting a 7mm rifle and 7mm-08 was high on my list of rounds to look into. A conversion to AI seems like it would be pretty simple to do.

Roughly 100fps maybe more of I pushed the Palma brass harder but I'd rather not. Keep in mind if you choose to AI a factory barrel it will require a setback for proper headspacing.
