Found 400 Federal Small Magnum Pistol primers locally so I could work up some 357 magnum loads for a lever action Marlin, now have 100 rounds at 10 rounds per step of .2 grains starting at 10.2 with 158 grn XTP's for woking on hogs with. We'll see which it like the best.
270AR you say? 6.5lapua brass you say??? I don't have either of those for my cartridge collection...Move the Dillon to the side and setup a Hornady Classic Single Stage press. Then loaded 100 rounds of 270AR with 38.5 grs of CFE223, 6.5x47 Lupua brass, 115 gr Nosler Custom Comp bullets with CCI 41 primers. This round should get down range fast!
Hmm, sounds like a great reason to see if I can get hold of some ballistics gel or may just try it out on a hog.Let us know how those bullets hold up at rifle velocities.
I didn't have good results on "test media". Around 1800 fps. If I recall correctly.

Any chance you want to part with 1 of each??
I figured as much. But the question still stands, wanna part with one 6.5 brass and one 270AR for my collection? It's wildcat that works in a AR15 and equal to .260 Remington factory ammo. You make the ammo with either .308 or 6.5x47 Lupua brass by necking the brass down or up. Lupua brass is the best to use. Just shot it for the first time. Impressed with the results.
