I used to smoke a lot of cigars. I particularly loved the Arturo Fuente Hemingway Masterpiece. If you have not had one, try it. It was my favorite by a mile.

Second favorite was the Macanudo Jade. Been a while since I had those since when all the new cigar people showed up they snagged those due to how mild they were.

Lots of different ones, liked the Punch shorties.

Had a spot on my throat a few years ago, and gave my neighbor all of my cigars ( including 8 Hemingways) and my humidor. Sometimes I miss it when I smell a good one. But there is no going back to them.

Since one of my fellow TGT'ers introduced me to Cigarpage.com I have been watching the website.

I ordered these a few days ago and they arrived today.

The CAO Gold is one that I sampled and found to be enjoyable.

Most RP's have been pretty good, I never had these going to give them a whirl.

These RP Decade suit me when I sit outside with a bottle of whiskey.

The Graycliff Old Glory is something new to try.

So I snuck outside and tried a Graycliff, I lightly roasted it, cut it, and fired it up. It started out a bit harsh, as if it had a stem, but finished nicely. Not a quick smoke by any means, I no longer smoke daily, but I think this would work for a daily smoke or for guests when playing cards. The aroma before lighting up was what I would call earthy with a hint of spiciness. Not fantastic, but a decent smoke.

Recently smoked a Vegueros that my friend who works at Habanos gave me. The wrapper wasn’t in the best condition but it still smoked perfectly with no issue.

At around $11, it’s not a bad price for a Cuban, or even when compared to the new world cigars I like.

I should’ve updated this last Thursday when I smoked an Upmann Banker Series Day Trader.

I’ve been waiting for this to make it to my tobacconist for several months and finally got the call, so I dropped by and picked up two Toros.

It’s a medium bodied cigar that smoked above it’s price point. I’ll likely pick up a box as I found it that good. Next time I’ll take a pic. Maybe. If I remember.

I've never tried a Masterpiece.... I really enjoy the Signature, though. They have, like everything else, gone way up in price. Used to be a $6 smoke... now they are closer to $9.... out of my league, except for special occasions. Great smokes, though...
