It's time to get serious. All of the Ron Paul folks better get on board with the repub ticket if they want the current moron out of the white house. I know Mitt is not your ideal candidate (mine either) but the reality is that HE IS OUR ONLY HOPE at this point. Nobody else has any chance of being elected, period.

A protest vote for a third party is simply a vote for Obama.

Ryan's a GREAT choice. Just waiting to see how the Dems are going to misrepresent and LIE about him. They do that too well.

The U.S. is headed to be like Greece soon if we don't get the debt under control. Hey Mister O... It's the spending, stupid!

I think that Ryan will provide the injection of balls that the Romney campaign has been lacking. His youth and veep experience will be needed later on as well.

+1 This will set Ryan up to as a presidential candidate later on, if he can avoid getting attached to any stupid shit Romney does while in office. Unfortunately his job is to always back up the boss in public... that could be a problem. Anyway this was a big nod in the direction of true conservatives and the tea party, just might be enough to push Romney over the finish line. I hope Ryan can straighten his ass out behind the scenes if Romney starts feeling a little limp in the wrist and suck-assy with the socialists.

I know nothing about Ryan except what I read about him this morning. Romney needs a scrapper on his ticket. He needs someone who will get down and fight it out with the libtards to show exactly what the POTUS has NOT been doing. I don't believe in negative campaigns but there must be a reason to have Obama in the oval office besides his race and that he's a smooth talker.

I voted AGAINST Dewhurst because of his negative tactics as much as I thought Cruz was the best candidate. I don't want to see that crap in the race for POTUS. I want the issues to be at the forefront BUT I want Obama's feet held to the fire. He talks a good fight.

Caution here....the post that said "a vote for a third party candidate is a vote for Obama." is absolutely correct. The choices are Romney and Obama. and if you think otherwise, you get Obama.

Ryan is from Wisconsin and is one of the strongest conservatives in the house. He's a budget hawk and the only congressman to put forward a serious plan to fix this country's fiscal problems. He makes his staffers read Atlas Shrugged before they can work for him. He's exactly the kind of guy this country needs to get back on track. This VP pick shows that Romney knows where his bread is buttered. That's good.

Romney is a buisness guy with an honest record. However he has been around the block enough to know you can't play fair with the Chicago machine. He has to beat Obama and the media.
