I've been on a unplanned vacation since December 8, 2023 and it went by quickly. In reality I'm glad it flew by because it means I'm closer to recovery and closer to getting back to work.

The wife should be home some time after 1 PM today after she spent the night in the ER/hospital to get
her broken left wrist put back to her cheek slapping caressing self. She fell and broke it as I was leaving
for the ER myself last Friday.

Mrs Diamond is scheduled to see surgeon tomorrow, and hasn't even had the damn mammogram/sonogram yet kinda ass freaking backwards by god.

So I went outside an hour and a half ago to use a couple of self-tapping screws to replace one that had broken and to tack down the bit of trim it was holding down on our storm door that was interfering with it closing fully. Ten minutes outside doing the repair, not in direct sunlight, and I was drenched with sweat. And it's only 93° supposedly.
