Today began like many others have but with one difference.

Today I sent in my retirement paperwork.

    The Moonpie has had enough.
TBH I am a little scared. At the same time I am both glad and sad.
First time in almost 50yrs I will be without a job.
So now maybe I’ll have time to hit the range more? I dunno yet.
    Last day will be Oct31.
    They can have that place.

Congratulations! About two and a half years for me. It does feel very odd to walk away from a job that is paying you, sufficiently to put up with their shit, on a regular basis. You spend 50 years worrying about the company surviving long enough to make ends meet, and save a few bucks, just to walk away. The first month or two is stranger than shit, but its all good. GOOD LUCK!

Congratulations, I know that you will be enjoying your retirement.

Just think of all the free time you’ve got coming to polish your Glocks.

    Today's spam call:

    "Hello."

    Click...click..."Ah...hello" (Indian accent)

"Hey! You're caller number five and YOU'RE ON THE AIR! Just tell me the secret trivia word and you've won the Taylor Swift tickets!"

"Uh...this is Jacob calling from Medical-"

"Dude, that's irrelevant - YOU'RE CALLER FIVE AND YOU WON THE TICKETS!!! What's the secret word?"

    "Good bye."

"C'mon, man - you've won and you're on the air! Don't you want the tickets?"

    "You are wasting my time!"

"I'm wasting your time? YOU called ME, dipshit!"

    Click.

    Howdy.

Y’all get to put your stamp on my house later today. I’m going to launch a thread with a poll to vote on the design for our new deck railing.
And the race is on.... As for @kbaxter60 and his question, y'all don't need any references, I already know the type of degenerates y'all are.
