I almost posted something on that very subject, but refrained because he's new.

Che was definitely a totalitarian. He executed anyone who didn't agree with his message, and some he just "suspected" didn't.

If I was searching for a revolutionary to look up to I'd look at Jefferson or Washington.

But Hipsters don't wear t-shirts with Jefferson on it.

You had your chance for a "gut check," and happy to see you sniffed something wrong with that poster.

General rule of thumb: If they are new, spew nonsense, or try to call out gun owners, they are trolls, probably inserted by some main-stream media, anti-gun organization, or "Big Daddy" trying to catch you in an act of "subversion."

I will call them out first every time. Have been slammed hard by other members for being too harsh, but not one new poster ever came back (remember the Puerto Rican, Mexican at UTSA, and others? When I'm wrong, I will admit it.

When have I been wrong about trolls?

    Stay alert, Stay alive.

    They are cowards.

You appear to be a thoughtful (if misguided) young person.

Che Guevara (as depicted in your avatar) was an Argentine-born Doctor of Medicine and an extreme Marxist revolutionary.

He (Guevara) joined forces with Fidel Castro, and was one of Castro's main executioners. Guevara put death over healing.

It is well documented that Guevara personally executed "Enemies of the State," and supervised the murder of hundreds of Batista loyalists.

Far too many young people have been duped into believing that "Che" was a man of the people and a noble freedom fighter.

Instead, he fought to enslave millions in bondage to a Marxist-Stalinist totalitarian state.

Guevara was a sadist sociopath and deserved to die in the same manner in which he butchered hundreds of freedom loving Cubans.

    Che = puerco sucio!

That's why I have not found a way to take him seriously. Even though I believe he is sincere in his confusion the use of Che as his avatar is just offensive.

I honestly believe he has little true understanding of the things he supports(whatever that may be). There are groups he affiliates with that have no mutual values so and I think he should re read animal farm or read it for the first time as it has probably been removed from the curriculum and spending some time on Fahrenheit 451 and 1984 wouldn't hurt either.

First I voted at Historic Cypress Top Park dance hall. Then hit Hotwells shooting range.

I voted on Wednesday. I got in today and there were no fewer than 3 ads in my mailbox from the Dewhurst campaign slamming Cruz. I just smiled, filed them in their proper place and went along with my day.

Just remember..they are both politicians..so if their mouth is moving, they are lying.

I've never heard A lie out of Cruz? Also I know for a fact that he's a God fearing Christian with true honest beliefs.. He's Anti-Big Government, Pro-Life, Pro-2A, he's for compleat reform of not only one but all of the issues that are tearing America apart.. We are turning into a socialist state of mind.. Cruz's values of God, Family, Country are what we all need. It starts at home with us, We The People, if we don't get out and vote this year, there's a big chance you will lose that right four years from now just like your other rights you complain about. It's time for a change, it's time to put Leaders that put God first in place of what we have now. Support those who support you, not Government. If you want the truth? It's right in front of you, look past the liberal bias media, lies, and BS.. If your not willing to find it yourself, don't expect someone to do it for you, you won't be happy with the outcome.. I'm Cruz all the way!

Gotta admit there's a lot of truth to that. I hated the negative slime throwing Dewhurst has been doing but saw ONE ad that was worthwhile. He was with some ranchers and talked about adding to our Border Patrol and locking up the border with Mexico.

I support Cruz and voted in early voting last Monday. The choices aren't ideal but being a Republican state, one of them will probably go to Washington DC. Gotta pay attention to this contest! I remember ONE Dewhurst ad that stuck to the issues and the others seemed to aim at Cruz as a person. That's pretty sad!

Something odd I saw yesterday and today...

Yesterday driving to the grocery store (HEB in south CS) and there were a swarm of Cruz signs and maybe 3-4 Dewhurst signs near the entrance to the CS city utility yards on Graham Road.

Today, driving down the same road to Lowe's, and all the Cruz signs are gone, but the Dewhurst signs were still there, along with a scattering of local race signs. I'm talking something like a score of signs, up and gone.

Not implying dirty tricks, but circumstantially, it's mighty suspicious.

Wife and I voted on Thursday - Cruz all the way. Ladies at the polling station said they were experiencing a very, very light turn out - in fact shockingly light. I'm thinking every vote will really count in this one given the low turnout.

I acted on that Thursday morning. Since then I have entertained myself with shredding the Dewhurst propaganda that fills my mailbox and tellin' the people that call me to tell me to vote for Dewhurst that I already voted for Cruz.

I'll let the partisans battle it out in the run-off in July, then reluctantly vote (R) in November.

With due respect, you don't grasp the importance of this runoff election. Both of these guys are Republicans and in this heavily Republican state, the winner of this runoff is probably headed to the Senate! The runoff is tomorrow. I voted last Monday in early voting. Doing NOTHING is exactly how this nation got it's buttload of do nothing, thieves, scoundrels, liars and cheats in our government.

If you fail to vote in the runoff, you REALLY won't have a choice in November!

The way Dewhurst trashed Cruz in the runoff campaign, there must be a lot at stake for him. His behavior was absolutely unacceptable.

I supported Cruz in both elections and I will actively oppose any standard party line candidates. This is our last chance. PLEASE VOTE!
