I wore Justins for years, then moved to Ariat. May not be as traditional with the rubber sole, but they're a lot more comfortable.

My kids bought me a pair of custom boots in full quill ostrich, appx $700. They didn’t fit so the seller told me to bring them back and he would see about stretching them.

When I got there we talked and he showed me around the shop. Some guy had a pair of Nile Croc boots that needed stretching. After stretching they were too big. He offered them to me for an even trade since they had been worn once.

They fit like a glove. I felt like I’d won the lottery getting a $1200 pair of boots.

The guy is in Waco and you can pick out the leather for your boots. He has a ton of different skins in there. Then the boots are made in El Paso. Great workmanship.

I bought a pair of Ariat work boots back in 2014 or so. Still doing fine to this day. Much better than cowboy boots.

Had a pair of square toe work boots with the steel toe plus waterproof that barely lasted a year. I only used them every other day and still wore out the soles very quickly.

Can you still get Tony Llama boots?

I bought my 1st new pair of Lamas last December at Farm & Ranch in Abilene
They are great boots. Standard leather sole. I like them alot

They are different than the Justin boots i had with the crepe soles that felt like wearing tennis shoes..but I couldn't get them to last
They wore out way too fast.

Tecovas also makes a good boot.

I like my Ariats, excellent support, and they've held up well for several years. They're the rough-out everyday boots, not dress up boots.

Wearing square Ariat boots right now

As I normally wear a 14W...I have come to appreciate the square toe. Why anyone would want to squeeze their toes into a triangle is beyond me...might as well be wearing some woman's 6-inch stilettos as far as I'm concerned.
