I guess I have a man-crush on Mucas McCain. I have had lever guns in 3 calibers. Suppose I watched too much tv as a kid.

30-30, 44 Mag and 22LR. 44 mag is definitely the one that got shot the least. But I have some 300g HPs for that gun that sure bring a smile to my face.
do you need some Mucinex for that?

I agree they are over priced.
Depends on which model you are looking for... the all steel, side gate, 357/45 Colt/44 Mag types are in the mid $800 range. Try to buy a gen-yu-wine "JM" Marlin at that price range.... and in my opinion, the Henry's are at least as good quality as the Marlins. I'll let you know after I've put a few more years on mine....

I'm resurrecting my old thread. I ended up buying Henry Big Boy Classic in .44 mag /.44 special. I picked it up Wednesday and ordered some ammo the same day.

McCain wasn't a thought in my purchase of lever guns. The first time I fired one I became addicted to the enjoyment these guns provide.

That right there is some tough hombres.
It would be awesome to watch them go after ANTIFA.

I'd love to know more details on this picture. Where. When. etc.
It appears the fellow seated with the handgun in front has a Remington 1875 or 1890 revolver.

Just tryin to be funny..... I don't like the new trend of square toed boots.... I lived through the "Dingo Boot" fad... didn't like them then, either.
I also don't like that nearly all new cowboy hats have squared off fronts....

So, my comment was tongue in cheek, about the "fake" cowboys in that picture.

Seems like I wouldn't have to explain this, but here we are....
