Last time I had an incident I called the offending store on the way out if a store in the next town where I made my purchase without hassle to advise them of such and to remind them that I really liked their store, consequently its a shame I won't be back.

Took my wife to MD Anderson for her quarterly checkup yesterday. All good. Since they won't let anyone but patients in I go over and park in Hermann Park and wait for her call. I was absolutely amazed that, in light of lifting of the mask mandate, I saw large numbers of people, each walking alone or with a dog, and the people, not the dogs, were still wearing masks. Amazing, I am talking about 99% of the people I saw walking alone or in family groups in the wide open spaces still wearing the darned things. Comrade Sylvester and Commandante Hidalgo have done a great job herding the sheep.

And I bet your wife wore her mask at MD Anderson. Why does this bother people so much for those that wear one? Do I care if people permanently disfigure their body with tattoos? Rings through their nose (or worse)? Your business, not mine.

My point was: Even when people don't have to wear them and CDC says they don't work, most people are so brain dead they keep on with the habit. The golfers a few yards away had NONE on. Go figure.
My point though is who cares? Does it bother me that they wear a mask? No. What bothers me is that they vote democratic. There are so many important issues that are out there. The country is going to hell, gun confiscation is next and we are arguing masks. Masks are really not important in light of the disasters ahead of us. That's my point.

My reaction is similar to others on here seeing sheeple continuing to wear non-functional mask even though not required to, in most cases. My reaction manifest its-self as that of disgust and disbelief. If one were to move beyond those emotional displays one would discover the root cause of those emotional displays. What might that be???? The fact of the sheer number of folks on display that will be of no use when the time comes to correct the course the U.S.A. is currently headed. Sheeple, like parasites, will consume that which causes them the least amount of effort.

The media spent a year hypnotizing people into believing that everyone around them was a potential vector of deadly disease.
This is so true and really pisses me off, because my dear mom is terrified. She is a smart gal and it kills me that they have brainwashed her like this. Every time we visit she asks me and wifey "Are you going to get the vaccine?". "No". And then we explain why not. Does no good; she's been brainwashed.

And did anyone notice that when the deaths started lagging, they found other topics to push fear with?: we have no vaccine; we don't have enough vaccines; there are new deadly strains; the vaccines won't touch the new strains; one mask is not enough; people are becoming complacent (!); on and on. Sickening. Yet many have bought into their drivel. Our local news can't show enough injection videos now, I presume to deaden people to the idea so they will go get the vaccine that we don't have enough of.

No Sir... Mask are but symptom. The willingness and acceptance without question to believe Government mandates. The blase attitude as right after right is stripped from us. The transformation, before our very eyes, of my country into an entity I can not recognize. This, Sir, is what it important to me. The mask are but a symptom or a symbol if you will. My disgust with mask wearing sheeple is nothing more than an outward display of my bitter disappointment at what my country has become and is becoming.

I watch the mask banter and it sort of amuse me to a certain extent. People on both sides seem to be obsessed with the mask. While many folks just refuse to wear a mask while arguably the same amount of folks would be happy wearing a mask for the rest of their life while alone in their car or home (I’ve witnessed this first hand)

I’m shocked by the amount of folks who don’t wash their hands after they use the bathroom. The only way I don’t wash my hands after using a toilet are of the toilet is so nasty I don’t dare touch anything or I don’t have the ability to such as in the woods or no soap & water to wash with. Think about that the next time someone tries to shake your hand.

I’d say contact is your biggest source for spreading most germs & virus.

Full disclosure: I’m not a doctor and I don’t play one on TV.

Maybe businesses need to require customers to wash their hands before entering

Carry on, I’m just bored trying to pass time waiting on a appointment

Yep. I visited the HEB in Boerne today. I'd say over 90% were masked. I didn't see their "masks required" signs until I hit the checkout*. Oops. Too late. No one hassled me. I just felt sorry for the masses.

    * I believe that the fine print actually said "our vendors and partners are required to wear a mask in the store". I was neither of those. And I was leaving.

I guy I know from the pub was all happy biden won. He was going to fix everything. Just the other day he was complaining of gas prices and product prices going up. I said that's what happens when the administration stops oil production and oil infrastructure building. His reply was "yeah". Then he started saying he wished more things would open up. I just looked at him, shook my head and drank my beer

We took a family trip over to Austin on Wednesday. Of course I knew of the jackass county judge and the mayor's legal quarrels with the state over the ban on local officials enacting their own nonsense.

We stopped in at JD's Market for lunch (good enchilada platter!) and they had a uniformed security guard at the door to ensure people were being good sheep and wearing their muzzles. Coming from a free county, we had left our stupid compliance diapers at home and had to *buy* masks there. Of course being Travis county, everywhere else was likewise requiring masks. Stupid. More stupid in that the market has a cafe area inside, where you can be maskless. Its right next to the area where they're preparing food. IF someone were infected with an air born communicable disease, wouldn't that be a bad idea? Masks are anti-germ theater in the same vein that the TSA is security theater. They're both as useless as tits on a boar but the ninnies and the power mad love them.
