They use a carcass from a BFG AT or a Goodyear MTR and retread them in patterns like a BFG AT, MTR, Cooper, Dunlop Mud Rover, etc. They're pretty dang cheap and get great reviews.

We're planning on heading down to the area that weekend though not sure how much beach time (if any) we'll get going to see my sister before she moves west and be there for my brother in laws bday. Planning on doing a little bit of shooting though if you need a break from the beach.

Don't tell them they're for burning. Look on craigslist too. A lot of these places recycle

I didn't I just asked them if they had any broken pallets. That guy was real quick to turn me away. I'm going to stop by a grocery store in a little bit to pick up some supplies, I may as them then.

This, the Aransas Pass Walmart puts the broken pallets out by the side road entrance, if there's none there its because someone already grabbed em. Positive they still do this because we picked some up about two months ago.
