The nastiest beer I ever drank was called Chang.
I had it when I was in Singapore, but it turns out that Chang is actually made in Thailand.

Chief Geronimo malt liguor from Fiesta in San Antonio about 20 yrs ago. Bought it because it was so strange. 32 oz. bottle, two sips and down the drain. Tasted like you would imagine donkey piss tasting like.

The year was 1966 at Southern Illinois University. We got hammered dozens of times on "OLD MILWAUKEE BEER." It was brewed by another Milwaukee name brewer and was sold as a lower price alternate. The stuff was vile but it would get you smashed for sure! It came in returnable/deposit bottles so we kept an empty case in my car trunk at all times. Trading that empty case in and forking out $3.12 for a new case, we were ready to go again! Yes.....that was $3.12/case of 24 bottles and sometimes several guys had to chip in for the case because we didn't have the cash!
