1st pellet grill brisket. Overnight cook. Came out with good texture and tenderness, but it could use more smoke!

Mrs Diamond said 2 days ago, she wants to make 7 layer dip today, thinking I'll grill up some beef for supper with some ranch beans, and I'll surprise her with some homemade Mexican rice (last wife was a beautiful Mexican gal she's the one who passed from cancer) I know how to cook autentico. Easy dinner tonight. Microwaved chicken patties on whole wheat buns with lettuce, baby spinach, cheddar cheese and dill pickles. Two sandwiches is a meal. Might add a couple of sweet peppers on the side.

Agreed; most got frozen for late Fall.

Here, some days every month call for shorts & T-shirts.

Mosquitos are year-round.

I used to run a duck hunt for a very wealthy Friend, involved taking VIP’S from all over out early every morning in the dark. They’d ask about clothing. Well, it could be calm & dry, or windy & very wet. Expect freezing temps early, but up to 80F before Noon. Better layer under GoreTex. Avoid anything labeled “Water Resistant” or you will regret it. One time with ice water running off your scrotum to fill your hip boots and you’ll never do that again !

Tonight is teriyaki chicken legs, jasmine rice, sweet peas and water... I may make a jug o' sweet tea, as I need to put blades on my mower tonight (cool shop) so I can mow tomorrow without having to go back over the yard...
