    It's kind of syrange. There are tons of people that think all you need to defend yourself are your hands. Or that it is your fault you got beat up or raped for not fighting back hard enough.

    Rught up to the point that it happens to them. Then they want help and weapons.

    So....when her son receives some "positive peer culture" in juvie, will she tell him that he's capable of defending himself, too?....
    The article is even harder to read than the mother is to look at. But note that it's three years old.

    We can hope that "peer intervention" happened, because there's clearly no parental guidance and, the way things are going today, the courts likely gave him a light tap on the wrist and released him with no juvie time.
