Getting tired of cut looking dents in my cases. I deburred the sharp, machined edge, rear of the ejection port on an AR. The sharp edge before transitioning into the receiver bump thingy.

The cases still dent but there's not a sharp edge gouge in the cases.
My AK does this. Havent tried to devise a solution yet. Thought about opening up the rear of the ejection port and making a buffer for it somehow.

I rattle can paint my equipment. Removing the sharp edge with 220 wet or dry will remove the anodizing. Just removing the edge ain't so bad. Little shiny edge. No biggy.

Better then that Damn mini axe chopping thing going on. It freaks me out on a level. That small gouge is a weak spot. It's not common to rupture but Murphy and me are on no talking terms.

On an AK. On the AR, it hits the transition before the bump.

AK owners gotta deal. AR owners, pull out a 2x2" square of wet & dry.

There's $hit you can do to the AK cover. Unless you run it with it off. Then you'd be a dork.

27 rounds of .44 mag. 71 rounds of .44 spcl. Weird numbers because it was all the .44 brass I had.

What are your favorite powders for 44 Mag? I usually load about 80% of my brass to be comfortable to shoot and the rest with extra spicy. Usually 4227 for the steady diet and H110 for the heavy stuff but I've been experimenting with Winchester 296.

Today I started working on plans for a new bench. Just bought a new house and convinced my fiance I need the extra bedroom for "gun stuff", well at least for now she is convinced. Hoping to get a good little set up so I can start cranking out some rounds again.

H110 for the mags. It uses a lot of it, but you sure get good velocities out of it.

Blue Dot works great for 44 mag loads. Been using that since 1990. There might be something better these days, but I have been really happy with that powder.

I have loaded both some very hot loads, and reduced recoil loads for the range.

Set up an alert for when the 190gn bullets I use for my Blackout AR go on "over-run" sale. I bought 2000 of them. Figured I can make good subsonic plinking ammo for $0.29/round with free converted range brass. They sell it for about $1/round.

I started to load 9mm with cFE pistol. Previously, I had loaded 223 with CFE 223. I turned down the powder meter but not near enough.

After cleaning up that mess I got going on the 9mm. It seems to have a small window of 4.9-5.5 for a 125 grain bullet.

Anyone else find find this to be true?

Yep. Sounds reasonable depending on the bullet.
