What really proves he's jerk commie is his statement 'I only joined to get GI bill education'. Weekend warrior claiming stuff he didn't do really makes me not like the guy. Then to bail out when asked to do somethng maybe dangerous - I don't want him on my team.
    Neither do I!!

Pretry sure Walz wasn’t demoted; he was either breveted or acting CSM in the perm rank of E-8. He retired in his perm rank of E-8, which is standard in those situations.
Perhaps I do not know the correct legal term, but the point was he said he retired as CSM, when in fact he retired a Master Sergeant.

A CBS News review of Walz's military record and statements from the Minnesota Army National Guard show Walz achieved the rank of command sergeant major but was reduced in rank to master sergeant after retirement since he had not completed coursework for the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy.

Harris’ campaign has referred to Walz as a “retired Command Sergeant Major,” one of the top ranks for an enlisted soldier. He did in fact achieve that rank, but personnel files show he was reduced in rank months after retiring. That left him as a master sergeant for benefits purposes

Calling walz a socialist makes him sound like commie-light, he's not commie-light, he's an out and out marxist...the list of horrors he's committed while in office proves it...

Dozens of trips to China, he is a straight up communist.

No doubt he is under Control of CCP. No different than Biden, McConnell and all the others. They own him financially, and he does what they tell him.

From a technically correct standpoint, Harris’ PR is factually incorrect, but that’s to be expected.

The AP statement appears technically correct but is likely missing context that Walz’ time as an E-9 was never a permanent promotion, so he couldn’t legally retire in that paygrade.

The bigger point is if folks think this is why folks should not vote for Harris/Walz, or will convince the fencesitters to vote for Trump/Vance, that’s a lot of energy for a really small return.

It just amazes me that neither Trump nor Vance will label either as a socialist, which is what they both are.

There’s plenty of solid, on the record stuff out there about Walz…stuff like his COVID snitch line. The $250M in COVID fraud he blamed on a court ruling that the judge literally posted the record publicly and said ‘here’s the proof Walz is lying” is easy pickings as is the 18 months he suspended the rule of law and dictatorship in place that made Greg Abbot jealous. Look at crime in Minnesota under his governorship.

Walz took an $18 billion with a B budget surplus and blew it on green energy projects while raising taxes. Then there’s the trans Mecca goal for Minnesota

As one commentary in the WSJ put it
    Code:
Mr. Walz has “grown” in office. In his second term, he has been the most left-wing Minnesota governor since the socialist Floyd B. Olson (1931-36).

To get the votes that matter, team Trump has to either get more Rs to turn out than ever before in history, or convince a relatively small number of people in six or seven states that Rs offer something better than socialism.

It seems it is just one data point on a series of lifelong lies about who he is, which goes directly to his character.

I don’t disagree, but a pol’s character doesn’t much influence who someone votes for in the Pres election, especially the undecideds.

That the Rs don’t want to make this next election about making a stand over transforming America into a socialist nightmare is hot garbage. Hell, he won his Congressional district running for on the DFL ticket. Every term.

Strategy in these situations is to take opponent off message and put them on defensive. 95% of the votes are probably already locked up. This is a battle for the 5%.

Not sure why you think that. Campaign has not really started.

It is Minnesota. Lots of crazy districts there and in other states, including Texas.

Thanks for posting. Hard to keep up with all the changes happening during campaign. As I heard discussed on 660AM The Answer talk radio the host said what really matters in all this kerfuffle is will it peal away any voter previously committed to Harris/Walz and now vote for Trump/Vance. We will have to wait and see if polls show us a sign in a few weeks.

To mention the 660AM The Answer conservative talk show again from above he added a modifier. If one takes an objective but morally unsavory view resigning just before his battalion was to go to combat it was legal and OK within the Guard's discharge process. Walz and Guard followed the rules that allow one to leave before end of enlistment. Not the sign of any leadership by a senior NCO.

What was stolen was the lie he retired as Command Sergeant Major (E-9) instead of Master Sergeant (E-8). And that he carried a weapon of war in a combat zone from the New York Post website.

The other big issue is he signed a new contract for 4 years when he took the CSM offer. Then he reneged on it.

So 2 things, reneging on a signed contract and skipping out on a deployment when he was their leader.

Also, very misleading when saying he was deployed in support of OIF and was also seen many times wearing a Special Forces Crest on a hat, something no soldier should ever do if not in that group/unit. I am sure more will be uncovered.

… Campaign has not really started….
Therein lies the problem. Pennsylvania mail in voting begins September 16th; that’s about 5 weeks from now.

Drawn out campaign strategies don’t work on that kind of timeline. But it appears the R strategy to win was pulled off the 2022 House/Senate shelf. I said then that hope ain’t a strategy and, well, I was more right than wrong that the Red Tide wasn’t gonna happen.

This is a weak argument. I think he is a jerk but he served 25 years and retired. No combat. I served during Nam and saw no combat. My buddy (we both went in at the same time) was sent to Thailand. Just the way it was. Neither of us could change our status. If I served 25 years I would retire too.
Him not seeing combat isn’t a problem(other than that he retired to avoid the possibility of actually having to do his job). It’s that he lied about his service, and one of those lies was to try to gain credibility to push gun control.

Forgetting about his military service or any lies about it, perceived or otherwise.

This dude is a straight up marxist. He's been to China dozens of times, spent his honeymoon there, reminiscent of devout commie Bernie Sanders spending his in the Soviet Union, and he speaks with the utmost respect of the CCP. Horrific.

He says small town folks where he's from say mind your own business. Yet this dickhead set up a fucking hotline during his draconian covid lockdowns for people to rat out their friends, family and neighbors for not wearing masks......even OUTFUCKINGSIDE.....and doing such horrific things as hosting people to gatherings in their own fucking homes. Not exactly minding your own fucking business.

    **** this marxist asshat.
