Neither do I!!What really proves he's jerk commie is his statement 'I only joined to get GI bill education'. Weekend warrior claiming stuff he didn't do really makes me not like the guy. Then to bail out when asked to do somethng maybe dangerous - I don't want him on my team.
Kamala does. Displays her depth of wisdom and discernment.Neither do I!!
Perhaps I do not know the correct legal term, but the point was he said he retired as CSM, when in fact he retired a Master Sergeant.Pretry sure Walz wasn’t demoted; he was either breveted or acting CSM in the perm rank of E-8. He retired in his perm rank of E-8, which is standard in those situations.
Calling walz a socialist makes him sound like commie-light, he's not commie-light, he's an out and out marxist...the list of horrors he's committed while in office proves it...

Tim Walz's military record under scrutiny as he joins Kamala Harris on Democratic ticket
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz's military record has come under renewed scrutiny following Vice President Kamala Harris' announcement of Walz as her running mate.www.cbsnews.com
A CBS News review of Walz's military record and statements from the Minnesota Army National Guard show Walz achieved the rank of command sergeant major but was reduced in rank to master sergeant after retirement since he had not completed coursework for the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy.
Here's a look at questions about Tim Walz's military record
Republicans are questioning Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s characterization of his time in uniform and his departure from military service.apnews.com
Harris’ campaign has referred to Walz as a “retired Command Sergeant Major,” one of the top ranks for an enlisted soldier. He did in fact achieve that rank, but personnel files show he was reduced in rank months after retiring. That left him as a master sergeant for benefits purposes
Mr. Walz has “grown” in office. In his second term, he has been the most left-wing Minnesota governor since the socialist Floyd B. Olson (1931-36).
The bigger point is if folks think this is why folks should not vote for Harris/Walz, or will convince the fencesitters to vote for Trump/Vance, that’s a lot of energy for a really small return.
It seems it is just one data point on a series of lifelong lies about who he is, which goes directly to his character.
Strategy in these situations is to take opponent off message and put them on defensive. 95% of the votes are probably already locked up. This is a battle for the 5%.I don’t disagree, but a pol’s character doesn’t much influence who someone votes for in the Pres election, especially the undecideds.
Not sure why you think that. Campaign has not really started. That the Rs don’t want to make this next election about making a stand over transforming America into a socialist nightmare is hot garbage.
It is Minnesota. Lots of crazy districts there and in other states, including Texas.Hell, he won his Congressional district running for on the DFL ticket. Every term.

Thanks for posting. Hard to keep up with all the changes happening during campaign. As I heard discussed on 660AM The Answer talk radio the host said what really matters in all this kerfuffle is will it peal away any voter previously committed to Harris/Walz and now vote for Trump/Vance. We will have to wait and see if polls show us a sign in a few weeks.
To mention the 660AM The Answer conservative talk show again from above he added a modifier. If one takes an objective but morally unsavory view resigning just before his battalion was to go to combat it was legal and OK within the Guard's discharge process. Walz and Guard followed the rules that allow one to leave before end of enlistment. Not the sign of any leadership by a senior NCO.
Therein lies the problem. Pennsylvania mail in voting begins September 16th; that’s about 5 weeks from now.… Campaign has not really started….

Drawn out campaign strategies don’t work on that kind of timeline. But it appears the R strategy to win was pulled off the 2022 House/Senate shelf. I said then that hope ain’t a strategy and, well, I was more right than wrong that the Red Tide wasn’t gonna happen.
Him not seeing combat isn’t a problem(other than that he retired to avoid the possibility of actually having to do his job). It’s that he lied about his service, and one of those lies was to try to gain credibility to push gun control. This is a weak argument. I think he is a jerk but he served 25 years and retired. No combat. I served during Nam and saw no combat. My buddy (we both went in at the same time) was sent to Thailand. Just the way it was. Neither of us could change our status. If I served 25 years I would retire too.
