Sorry to hear the news. That is a very tough time, we get so attached to our dogs. Sounds like you gave him a good life for many years.

Yukon was an arctic wolf that was part of our family for almost 14 years. His physical condition had deteriorated to the point where it was cruel to keep him going. In this 8 year old picture, he was napping on the couch when the blue healer decided she needed a nap too.

I really hate to hear that and I feel bad for you. Wish there was something to say that could ease the pain, but I know from experience that there isn’t.
