My Kimber UCDP is pretty, but I wouldn’t recommend any Kimber.

Check the Ruger or Taurus.

Yep... I never did specify my budget

After looking… decided to stay in the +/- $1,000 range

So that eliminates many (Ed Brown, Wilson Combat, ACW, GunCrafter, many Dan Wessons, etc)

A Ruger, Kimber, Bul Armory, SA may be the choices

My Ruger SR 1911 commander shoots great. I had some issues with it early but Ruger corrected it quickly. Since then, it has been a great gun. Good luck!

That same seller had the stainless version of that exact gun but a newer model for a starting bid of $650 about a week or so ago.. it sold unfortunately. They are worth saving on gb though

Just looked it up... we have a large gun show (large for our city) scheduled on Sept 6-8
