A suggestion for the mods and admins. On our sister forum, Indiana Gun Owners, the deceased are listed as “emeritus”, as opposed to SATX’s “TGT addict”. It allows people going through old threads, the opportunity to tip their hat, to those that have past.
    Just a thought.

    An example.

    He passed not long after.
    Thanks for the suggestion.

I think his new profile page is a fitting tribute to Jim Freeman. The newer Emeritus, "Texas Proud" is another nice touch as well.
Another Thanks to @Vaquero for making this happen.

He did speak of house-sitting(maybe dog sitting?) often when he would show up for the Friday Austin lunches. Been quite a while though.

I believe it was house-sitting he mentioned in a post some time back. I don't know if she is still there or not. He also did mention attending some of the Friday Austin lunches the members had.

Quick update after having spoke with the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s office.

James (Jim) W.Freeman passed on June 18th, 2021 and his next of kin has been notified. Beyond that, the family is responsible for obituaries, services, and disposition of the remains. The ME office is unable to release contact information for the family. There is no recorded or scheduled burial at any of the national cemeteries that would match; this could be for various reasons.
