One way is he announces he will not run again.

The DNC’s Rule 13, Section J says, “Delegates elected to the national convention pledged to a presidential candidate shall in good conscience reflect the sentiment of those who elected them.” Plenty of wiggle room there.
I get it, but still seems like a pretty big risk, not to mention undemocratic, the very thing they falsely scream about the other side on the daily.

Brit Hume did say on the postgame last night that in reality, Biden would have to voluntarily remove himself from the race in order for any replacement to happen. And it that event, it would automatically go to Harris. Not sure if he was speaking theoretically or by the book. Either way, they have a disaster on their hands.

Just so their disaster doesn't become our shit sandwich.

Wasn't going to watch, but got talked into it. Couple of observations....

I was a little surprised at how evenhanded and somewhat fair the moderators were, who are of course both extreme sufferers of TDS. I think all the talk beforehand by all of conservative media may have affected them, knowing they'd be under the microscope.

The one time I felt they weren't fair was when they asked Trump if he was planning on prosecuting/punishing (whatever the term was) his political opponents if elected when Biden never got asked the same question when he and his henchmen are in the midst of doing that exact thing and have been since he's been in office. Not to mention the ridiculous "impeachments" we saw during his term.

Lastly, I've been a Trump supporter since he got the nomination in '16, but do realize he has his shortcomings largely because he's never been and really in some ways still isn't a politician. But I have to say that I thought he was quite restrained and measured during almost all of the debate, which really helped his cause. There were times when he didn't answer the question asked, but instead started refuting something Brandon had just said that was false. Even though he wasn't right on script, I felt most of those deviations were warranted and scored points.

The one barb that I loved, however, was when Biden finished some answer completely incoherently and Trump mentioned that he didn't know what Brandon said in his last sentence and didn't think Brandon knew either. Pure gold. And some of the looks of confusion on Trump's face during Brandon's answers told the story. It was the same expression I had, like WTF are you talking about?

The split screen was fucking awesome and helped Trump a ton and hurt Brandon big time since he looked completely lost and confused throughout the whole debate.

Contrary to how the MSM couches it all the time, Trump looked like the adult and Brandon looked like the child.

I listened to it live on the radio, and your observations hold true - easily coming across, even without any visuals.

What i find interesting is that there's still some diehards sticking with biden, and occasional articles or commentators trying to spin the debate.

There's a small chance biden tries to stick it out.
Looking like he plans on staying in race.

I watched as much as I could stomach of the rally in NC. Of course Dr. Jill had to lead him on and off stage, but once he was behind the podium and reading from the teleprompter he was able to angrily rant as thought he actually had working brain cells. A very different performance from the debate.

It really reminds me that there is somebody behind the scene pulling the strings. The folks actually in power aren’t going to replace Howdy Doody. He’s just what they want.

And I'll add to this that Trump, like almost everyone else watching who isn't in complete denial, knew in the first minute or less of the debate that Brandon was lost and confused and in deep trouble. And instead of the proverbial pushing an old man off the cliff in his wheelchair, Trump used that knowledge to his advantage and just let Brandon hang himself, was restrained in doing so, and therefore came across as more presidential and the adult in the room.

100% this was a set-up to force Biden to step down and let the DNC put someone else on the ballot. They had hoped that Harris was a good enough puppet to hold the place, but she turned out to be dumber than an old man with dementia. Odds are that Gavin Newsome will be the new nominee. He's connected to Pelosi and tons of California billionaire money. Also, he's pretty. (Remember, that's what they liked about Beto, "He looks like a Kennedy!") The other slot could easily be Michelle ("Big Mike") Obama. They know they're losing a lot of the black vote to Trump, so they've got to angle for that in some way.

This explains a lot about why the debate was the earliest ever held in an election year. It wasn't a debate; it was a 'last chance for Joe'.

Like how they falsely scream about "threats to our democracy" while doing everything they can to guarantee one party rule?

Like how they falsely scream about "election deniers", with the same mouths they denied the 2000 and 2016 elections with?

Like how they falsely claim Trump is a "convicted rapist" while still holding Bill Clinton up as an example of ethics?

Like how they still cling to the "Russian asset" conspiracy theory while ignoring that the Steele Dossier was pure Russian disinformation, bought and paid for by the DNC?

It's funny seeing what some hard leftists are posting on social media to try to rationalize away Brandon's (lack of) debate performance.

I mean, hey, at least the liar was there more than just physically...

This is how your rationalize your guy faceplanting. "Oh, well, the debate doesn't matter anyway..."

When all else fails, fall back on every Democrat's favorite bit of poorly-written oppression porn. I'm so tired of the Handmaid's Fucking Tale. It's nothing but hateful propaganda written by a hack author. These are the same people who don't understand that "1984" was written about the system they dream of implementing.

Did any of them say what the lies were? I don't recall hearing any out of Trump's mouth.
