Cool shit starts about 8:00 in. They start with a solid bullet and then a soft point.

That whole series of videos came from someone who enjoyed putting the rifle in the hands of people unaccustomed to shooting things that kick hard then filming them for giggles. Screw that guy, whoever he was.

Almost anyone can shoot a hard-kicking rifle if they have competent instruction. But these videos were the male equivalent of those videos where someone hands a girl a .500 S&W and then stands back to watch the damage happen. Generally, we condemn those assholes.

I say the guy who shot these videos was just as much of an asshole.

Possibly to mitigate some of the recoil on the truck bed. Maybe even to give better footing for the soldiers.

We did that at the beginning of GWOT to help mitigate IEDs.
