Ya it's been a long year of my life. I actually hit my out of pocket max so it isn't cheap either. I don't know how people don't go bankrupt, I guess many do. If we dodnt have a decent chunk of money beyond our budget we would be in trouble but it will still probably take me a year to pay it all off.
Now we will be living from scan to scan for 5 years. We caught my primary tumor very early even though I had 2 different types of cancer and it hasn't shown up anywhere else so huge light and then end of the tunnel but still a long road of scans ahead.
I hope my energey returns in a couple months. I'm not sleeping all day like I was after radiation but I'm still tired quickly. I guess I get out of walking all summer.
It's all better than the alternative. I don't think I'd like being dead very much.
