russia double tapped a residential address with approximately 4 missiles.

Sent one in, then a few minutes later the others hit emergency services and civilians trying to help survivors of the first strike

This could develop into something interesting if it is confirmed.

Basically the report says the russian 328th airborne regiment of the 104th airborne div was in a tough spot near Krynki and was absorbing artillery from both sides and eventually said "**** it" and walked away, abandoning their positions.

This is where Ukraine had crossed the Dnipro and established a position a few weeks ago. Ukraine has been working on expanding their foothold and the abandonment of the russian positions may allow for advancement it is own right and seeing/hearing of their comrades abandoning the fight will surely not help russian morale in the region.

    Sometimes politics is news.

I had said I was concerned about the US slow rolling supplies to Ukraine, tanks, F16s, because Obiden et al, do not actually care and are happy to just be bleeding russia.

Well, I may have been right :(

Notice how I don't make claims then tell people to read my mind where I got the info? That helps make for an honest discussion.

If the US starts playing that game, I hope Ukraine gets a few suitcase nukes on the black market & detonates a few inside Rus cities.....

Perun just dropped another video analyzing the russian war against Ukraine.

Several good points and lots of great throughly researched data.

Overall visually confirmed (VC) loss ratios are DRASTICALLY lopsided in favor of Ukriane. About 4:1 for MBTs and AFV/IFVs

Loss ratios were slightly more even around Zaporizhzhia, but still favored Ukriane

The last month or so has been EXTREMELY and unsustainablly costly for russia as they assault Avdiivka where MBT losses favor Ukriane 10:1 and AFV/IFV 20:1 the raw numbers are extremely high here as well.

Analysis of Ukrainian claimed kills vs visually confirmed kills around Avdiivka:
Ukrainian claimed 100 MBT kills and 57 and 61 (depending on the date) VC kills were counted giving a claimed to confirmed ratio of 1.75:1 or 1.64:1
"Other armor" was claimed at 250 while 141 or 159 were visually confirmed giving ratios of 1.77: and 1.57:1.

VC counts will nearly always be lower than "actual" because of the strict standards for confirming a kill which need verified location, verified time, confirmation it hadn't been counted before etc.

Claimed kills are frequently optimistic and individuals and commanders usually have motive to count questionable hits as kills for any number of reasons, however they claimed: confirmed ratio is consistent showing the claims are not made out of thin air and are actually within reason, if high. In short it shows Ukriane is being fairly accurate in their published numbers, in contrast to russia which are completely unreliable.

russia squandered a chance to fight with equivalent loss ratios in the Zaporizhzhia region and instead chose to fall back on frontal assaults on well defend areas around Avdiivka and may have lost a chance to rest their troops and build up quantities of equipment that could have been put to better use elsewhere.

Long, but very interesting and great data:
