russia attacked to the north of Avdiivka, but they got pretty much smacked down (will update with the russian armored columns getted busted.

Fresh ZSU troops with western weapons have arrived and are counter attacking and supposedly making good headway on the salients, both north and south of Avdiivka.

Too much headway here may be tough since it is very near the 2014 lines, but if troops are recalled from other places or unable to rotate out it will wear down russian capacity for fighting and if no breakthrough here, it could open the door along the Dnipro river or near Robotyne...

Noticed the fresh blue on the map.ukraindailyupdate.com along the Dnipro River yesterday but it seems the ZSU is not just doing a raid, but attempting to expand control. Also, note the Ukrainian drone attacks about 30km NW... something is happening there too. The map from Telegram seems to show ZSU across the river there too.

News from the front:

North of Avdiivka and also along the Dnipro River...

Along the Dnipro, about 40km from Kherson, Ukrainian had crossed a few few days ago establishing a foothold on the east side. Other maps already show the righter yellow here (designating freshly contested areas) as in Ukraine's hands.

The fighting around Avdiivka could result in substantial losses in men and territory for russians, which would set them on their heels.

Consider your source. RT is run by the Kremlin.

Also consider what's shown in the video - no secondary explosions, no visible structural damage after the hit, and the tank is sitting perfectly still with no personnel and several open hatches. Looks like the tank may have already been disabled by some mechanical issue. Russia is proudly bragging about scuffing the paint on a derelict.
