Major shifts in that line of thinking today. Multiple outlets showing "video proof" of a missile striking the airliner. Now, I don't find the video compelling, but once PM Blackface piles on...

It was pretty obvious that it didn't look like a "mechanical" issue from the get-go on the pilot forums. Too much strangeness. Of course, they're going to claim it was a mistaken lock intended for some US aircraft, I suspect, or something along those lines, because of course it's our fault they had to turn their missile defenses on in the first place. Sigh.

More interesting this morning: Iran denies shooting the airliner down. Asks the *US* to supply their (satellite?) data proving such. Wow.
And just last night they said that Iran would not turn the black boxes over to aviation authorities or Boeing.
