The reason I am suggesting brazos river spotsmans club is because of a YouTube video a guy did there. It sounds like a great and relaxing experience that is unlike other ranges.

You had me at 1000 yard rifle range but the website states max 200 yards, I'll call for more information.

No more 1000 yard range. Might not be any more 200 yard range due to the varying nature of building on a river bottom, current max range is 50 yards. This is why I always call before I haul, I won't be making that hour plus trip, ever.

This place has 1k yrd. It's about 45 minutes west of where I am. If the range/club is worth it I wouldn't mind the drive.

Hi all,
We need to get this fired up again. The last attempt kind of fell flat. If y'all are interested in doing some long range shooting I think the closest place in the Houston area anyway is Wallis-Orchard and from what I can tell you can shoot out to 700 yards. I'll finally be getting my PRS this week after months of waiting. I'm going to want to break it in.

Do any of y'all ever shoot the matches up at CCC? There is one October 12th that I'll probably be entering. There's a Rifles Only match in Kingsville on October 6th as well.

What is the CCC?

It's a range in outside of Navasota. You can shoot out to 1100 yards. They have pistol ranges too.
