I am open to other ideas. Those were just a few I had. TGT is a pretty strong online community and from what I hear can be a strong offline community as well. I am just trying to organize some Houston area events to get to know everyone .

From my experience, everyone who does anything is far down south and most of us Wildlings in the North don't drive past the Woodlands haha
