You'll be happy with it. My dad has 3 and I have 2. 1 of mine is weapon mounted my dad has 2 weapon mounted. We like them cause of how simple their operation is compared to the other Fenix lights.

Hehe, I like that. I've read about the "poor man's SureFire" elsewhere, kind of like the "poor man's MontBlanc" rollerball. Ingenuity at its best!

But definitely, a real SureFire has awesome build quality. And they have good customer service, lifetime warranty.
