    It's half way across the country. It is a considerable investment of time and money to make such a long and arduous journey.
    Plus, you have to stare into the sun going and coming.

    When I decided I wanted a 357, my research indicated the Smith had a better trigger out of the box, the Ruger was beefier. But the Smith had the Hillary hole & was more $. Decided to get the Ruger and did a trigger job on it. Ended up with the best of both worlds:

    Years later it has remained 100% with all kinds of ammo, trigger has smoothed out even more with use. It is cake to shoot with 38 spcl, handles 357 with less felt recoil to me than my Kel Tec PF9.
