I have my eye on the Ruger Redhawk 45 ACP/45LC. Sold out everywhere now.
    Great choice.

These two have the interchangeable .45acp and .45 Colt cylinders.
The Redhawk is a DA/SA revolver. It uses moon clips to shoot .45ACP.

That said, I'd like a Blackhawk in .45ACP.....and Ruger recently came out with a dandy carry version....

I don’t get 10mm in a wheelgun. Why not .41 Mag? Who really likes moonclips?

I can't explain it, shooting a 10mm revolver just does it for me. A 10mm autoloader is a close second.

I don't mind the moonclips in 20mm at all. Easy to moon and demoon without a tool. Now 9mm is another story...

Which one is that? I don't see anything on the Ruger website that strikes me as a carry version of the Blackhawk.

    Gunz are icky.
My convertible Blackhawk is the 3.75in barrel Bisley version.
    I shoot .45aarp much more than .45LC.
It does beat up your knuckle with heavy LC loads.
All I've done to it is swap out the factory mainspring for the Wolff. Factory was just too stiff.

So, I might have found something I’m considering/trying to resist getting...
