Turns out, officers on the scene identified the suspect as a 64-year-old ex-con with multiple firearms.
So probably not a samali, and since none of the victims received life threatening wounds, probably armed with one of those weapons of war, a Ruger 10/22.

Suspect is still inside his trailer house.

Yep - and I have a 20 round magazine (17 w / +3 base) I tote as a spare - however the 34 has a softer recoil impulse, a red dot optic, a barrel weight in the form of an X300U, and an Apex trigger. It also has 21 rounds in the gun vs 16 of the G19. My 19 is a 3rd gen, non optic ready gun that has Trijicon irons and a Lone Wolf trigger in it. I shoot the 34 better than the 19.
