So the city is claiming that there was no cost. As a person who pays way too much in taxes to my city, I'd love to know how they're getting city maintenance staff to volunteer their labor and tools, and how they get vehicle maintenance and fuel for free.

I'm seeing stuff on social media that citizens have come together to volunteer and remove the sand.

    See post #3789.

I do not remotely think that the chinese have been honest with us on this. I do not think it was intentionally released. I do think there is a possiblity it could have accidentley been released from a lad. What ticks me off is there are two animals this is supposed to involve. One is this weird thing about the size of a cat that has there scales on it like an armadillo and bats.

My understanding is these are eaten so people can get it up. I can't help but think that america is going through this because someone ate weird stuff to get their inch high private eye up because they cant do it on their own. Take a damn viagra next time the sushi bar is open. I have nothing against chinese americans most dont like communism anymore than we do.

I have also never seen a chinese flag in a chinese restaurant, but china itself needs to be punished. We need to divest from there and have our companies manufacturing somewhere else. It would be great if jobs came back here, but that will not happen. People are not going to want to pay $35 for $5 item they buy today and liberals would love to unionize the most unskilled people they can find. Helll they want McDonalds to pay $15 an hour and pepole cant even get a damn no sauce on a big mac order right.

We have all these illegal immigrants trying to break in and taking advantage of our loopholes changing our voting landscape. Why not put some jobs in places so people stay where they belong? I am sure labor in the northern triangle would not be that high. I have played amplifiers and guitars from mexcio and they kick the ones from China's a**. So maybe throw some work htere way.

Not sure about the bat eating boner equation. I figure everything that we currently eat some brave soul/ dumb mofo or hungry person said yeah I'm going to eat this. Just think of the learning curve on eating funguses! Then consider what todays market price is on truffles.

Hey Denton! If you're gonna let everyone in the county out to run around, open up the dining areas. I just spent 45 minutes in line at a drive through. Line wrapped around the building almost twice.
I hear you. Were hoping the wife returns to work this friday or next monday. Big conference call tomorrow.

We are thankful she's been paid the whole month she was off.

Her store has be shuttered exactly a month now.

There’s maybe a couple members who’ll understand this, but I’ll go ahead and post it.

Over the last 15 years or so, China has been a significant lender to much of the African continent. In doing so, the Chinese required real collateral from government and corporations.

With economies collapsing, Chinese corporations can’t afford to operate in Africa, and can’t afford Africans to operate either. So, no revenue is being generated to repay the loans. African governments are now negotiating with the Chinese to adjust loan repayments, after Western Europe and the US have refused to provide direct aid knowing it goes to China in the form of debt service.

Due to the Chinese economy tanking, the communist government has been unwilling to allow African counties to renegotiate debt repayment and instead are positioning transfer of collateral ownership for debt forgiveness.

The Chinese government is about to rape the Dark Continent worse than Japanese did Nanking.
    Colonizers!

I stopped eating lunch when they closed the dining rooms. I don’t like eating in my truck and I still have a few pounds to lose.

    A good read...
Competition Over Africa, as U.S. Sends a Signal

Great power competition isn’t limited to Eastern Europe and the South China Sea. In Africa, the U.S. military is investing and operating more aggressively in response to the growing presence of China and Russia on the continent.

The Air Force is building a new operating base in Niger and increasing deployments for exercises, advisers, and state partnerships to help build up allies’ capacity as part of a broader effort to ensure those nations can resist and counter Russia and China, if necessary. Partner countries, in turn, are investing in their own infrastructure and deploying their own forces along with private military contractors.

For “global power competition, it’s really about gaining and maintaining influence,” U.S. Africa Command boss Army Gen. Stephen Townsend told lawmakers in a March 10 hearing. “That’s what competition is all about. So, in some future rainy day, we have the access and influence that we need. So, we’re in a struggle with China and Russia to gain and maintain that influence”... (Full article at title link)

“Then the cops showed up at the Cohoons’ home. According to a suit filed on their behalf by the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty, the officer said he had orders from the sheriff to demand that she delete the Instagram post or he’d cite her or her parents for disorderly conduct and “start taking people to jail.” Amyiah says she complied.”
