I just know as is, it is not fun to shoot.

No Contender is fun to shoot in any caliber that kicks. 7-30 Waters qualifies, though it's nowhere near the worst. It's actually a pretty good compromise; I hope you get plenty of chances to enjoy it.

Loaded some 338 Lapua mag, 87.0 H 1000 and Hornady 250 HPBT’s. Tomorrow I will load some more with RL22.

The postman just delivered me a couple of boxes, #50 each, of Hornady 6mm Rem brass and some 80 gr Barnes TTSX bullets. That, plus the LR primers I picked up at the San Marcos gun show recently, has me in pretty good shape for now.

Just ordered me some 7mm 140 gr and some .308 cal 180 gr Nosler Accubonds from Midsouth.

Happy that the component shortages seem to be easing up.

I haven't loaded much ammo since covid. Hunting season will be here soon, so I decided to load some Sierra 65gr Gamekings in 223. I took two years to find 500 of them and I wish I bought more. They are OOS everywhere again.

I have a lot of pre-processed brass thats ready to go, which makes loading easy. Primer, powder, bullet and a very mild crimp.

Rp- fantastic work! Just ordered 50 of the solid base penetrator slugs!
They also have a place to request load data.

I've been looking at some old school load tables for the 10 ga. Trying to find some low pressure loads. Turns out that IMR Blue will push a 1 1/4 oz load out at about 7400 psi and Longshot at about 6500 psi.
So I'll be looking for some Longshot to play with!

I was loading about 48gr for my brother in laws 460s&w. It was cooking for sure. I think if you push a 45 any faster the world will implode.
