I guess they only let you make one pass?
    Ha!

No. I got about 4 passes in that day. My wife didn't let me, she wanted to get to the drive inn in Ennis. But wanted to get to starbucks first before the movie started. After the 2nd pass other folks kept on wanted to race, and it was pissing off my wife.

I literally just stopped over there, on the way to the drive-in it wasn't a planned thing.

Very similar, but my wife wanted to go to a Bed and breakfast in baton rouge for a long weekend, but strangely, by chance, I went hog hunting 45 mins away instead of going to antique mall shopping.

I didn't think they'd let you run those times/speed without safety gear.

    Another Troll.
    Definitely not a troll.
    Just s
Sure they will, if the times are made up and you were never at the track to begin with.

Definitely not a troll. Tesla S Plaid. Its the standard speed of every single S Plaid that rolls off the assembly line. Literally every single one.

Those times are not made up at all. Come on guys. Get out of the house.

In our Neighborhood they are Everywhere.

I don't understand why Im already being called a Troll. Because I share diff views? You can actually buy the exact car we own, order it and then they send it to your nearest Tesla Service Station. Or if you are out of 55 miles they will drop it off at your house.

Thats the Stock speed for this car. How the hell is that hard to believe?

The exact car you can order:

    Model S Plaid

If you order that today, you estimated Delivery is Oct 22. Thats it. Its that simple. How difficult is that to believe?
    See post #45.
They 100% did. We pulled off on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. I had never been. I paid a deposit for two helmets, it was an open Race. 20 Dollar admission 10 dollars to race. We put a deposit down for helmets.
They even had clean restrooms and a DJ.

Ok then, it's put up or shut up time. Post your timeslip.

Oh let me guess. You lost it, or you threw it away, or you didn't pick it up at the timing shack. Right?

Maybe I'm wrong, but for those times, and speed, NHRA wants a roll cage, and parachute.
I figured it would be required if this was a legit racetrack.

    Dude.
I have no clue where that sheet of paper is. I don't even remember what day it was, Friday/Saturday or Sunday. I have other crap in my life to deal with than a time slip.
Im just sharing my experiences. With fellow Texans.

Thats it. Sharing my only single experience at a drag strip. Im not the Demographic for dragsters. Or drag racing. Just a middle aged dude, with too much time on his hands. And wanted to participate with other people on a forum instead of getting attacked. jesus.

    Figured as much.

    You're full of shit.

Alright man. Thats great. I don't keep stuff like time sheets. That makes me full of shit. My numbers aren't actually crazy. This is a Stock Family Sedan. Its nothing out of the ordinary. They Sell literally Thousands of these a month.

Im just one of Many Thousands of people that own one of these.

    Okay. Im done with this,
If there is anyone local DFW, would would like to go the range, and actually drive in a Tesla feel free to PM me. I shoot once a week.

    130 in 6.0
    1/4 mile - 151 in 9.4

Yes, you're full of shit. And yes, your numbers are indeed crazy - especially if you think you can do that stock.

You would have 100% kept those slips if they were actually real, because it would have been not only the new Tesla Plaid world record (by a lot) but it would have been the fastest EV world record outside of that dragster piloted by Don Garlitz a couple years back (low 7's). Fastest Tesla I'm aware of is still in the high 8's at 161 with ~600lbs. weight removal. The Rimac Nevera is still on top as the fastest production EV, going 8.50's @ 167.

It's fun to embellish on the Internet, right up to the point you get called out.
