Going back to the videos....

I understand why the cameraman didn't turn, his job is to make the shot and ignore his surroundings.

The female reporter saw him but didn't flinch. I would have.

The last being interviewed was completely oblivious and she was almost facing him straight on.

Out in the field it is easy to get engaged in the scene and the task at hand and forget SA. These folks were out doing the job, the job they do everyday to help the public. Yet some coward with hate in his heart intentionally took advantage of the situation in order to harm them. It is terrible that a guy with an ugly attitude ruins lives and families. How selfish.

His body position and the pointing of the pistol suggest a staged pose.

That's why I'm leaning towards a selfie of some sort.


I know for a fact it takes what feels likeseveral seconds to recognize that a gun is out as I experienced it myself a few years ago.... But she never even did a double take.
