I'm getting ready to take the plunge.

I'll be going through Silencer Shop.

I'd like a 45 suppressor so I can shoot other calibers through it.

What do you recommend and why?

I like the Silencerco 45 Osprey, but I want to consider other options and hear about any downsides to this one.

    Thanks.

I bought a tirant in 45, full size. just be sure to get one you can change out pistons, so you can use it on several different guns.

Did it come with all 3 pistons?

Can you also shoot subsonic rifle rounds through it?

When I bought it (about 3 yrs. ago) it only came with the one piston, I bought the others shortly after.
I don't know if that policy has changed, but I kinda doubt it.

I have only used it on pistol caliber hosts, sorry.

The TiRants are a great deal right now. The Octane is my choice as it is completely SS so it is much easier to clean if you are shooting lead bullets.

As for shooting rifle rounds, the answer in most cases is no unless you are talking about a .300 BO. Most manufacturers list what their cans are rated for on their site.

I am very pleased with my Osprey 9mm. Cam dosen't like it though...lol

The Wraith XL from YHM is the quietest 9mm can I have and it is full auto rated.

Good luck and keep that check book handy. It is very addicting..

My only current interest is for a pistol can in case I need to use it in the House.

However id like to get a 22 and 308 can and maybe an SBR. Got to go, Vaq is calling me to yell at me!
