Unless you were small framed or recoil sensitive, sure.

The point is, without more info it's nothing but a popularity contest.

    Which 26" bicycle should I get? :-)

Kinda depends what reasonable is to you. I looked around a lot a few months ago and ended up with a beretta a300. I like it a lot so far.

Real men pump their scatterguns. Get an 870. Oh yeah, and real men don't shoot 20 ga...

870 is a reliable great gun and in a Wingmaster is an awesome bird gun. These days I much prefer a 20 or 28 over a 12 as I don't see the point of abusing yourself if you don't have to. I guess I can understand if you are that bad of a shot that you need the extra pellets in the air.

I've been tempted to switch to 20ga.

Just a lot more fun shooting clays all afternoon vs 12ga, and I hit just as many.

This was my thought also. Switched to all 20 gauges and then got a 12 gauge just for turkeys and ducks.

I have a benelli nova 12g pump, great all around

For anyone looking for a new shotgun, make sure you go handle one of these before you buy one. I was sold just from reviews, but it was not at all what I wanted when I held it. Im sure its a great gun, but you definitely want to shoulder any gun you are considering before you buy it. Especially with a shotgun.

A shotgun that feels and fits good will usually account for mor hits. I tell this to just about anyone considering a O/U especially when the 2 B names get thrown out as they fit nothing alike.

Are these the best choices for 3-gun?
    What about skeet?

I wish the original poster would return and give us a clue...
