Stolen for the book of faces!
Guns have only two enemies: rust and politicians!

I liked your post, but I don't like what you're describing...I will need to make a primer for my son for voting. He is busy with school and does want to know the issues. He is conservative but his own thinker but still young enough to be mis-informed. He is like me, very careful, but not that confident yet.
I have been stewing for days and now I feel like I have body aches and a fever. October is my favorite month but I also just filed my taxes and we are catching up but still behind, so it’s time to pay the piper finally for 2017. So I’m STRESSED. It’s doable, over a few months. Color me excited that with an identical return next April I will have to fork over $4,400 LESS. MAGA. And just so you know, SCOTUS picks was the main reason I voted for Trump.
Anyways, I’ve been also bothered by not having many girly friends who understand how I think and that I can talk to without losing their friendship. There’s one I tried to talk to Tuesday, and after I explained myself further and further (and she DID try to listen, but didn’t “get” me), I felt very exhausted and, I don’t know, freakish. Like I didn’t fit in.
I just don’t have any IRL friends I can really talk to, and that makes me sad. I’m also stressed on top of all that because two weeks ago husband and I had a pretty bad personal thing happen (his VERY SCARY mistake); super personal growth opportunity for him, but I couldn’t talk to anyone about it. He and I DID finally talk about it, but barely, and I’m satisfied with his conversation with me but... I’m holding on to a lot.
If I didn’t have this thread to talk about the hearings with you guys, it would have been so much harder. But even so, it’s still hard with all my stress lately. There’s even more stuff I haven’t referenced. Nothing earth shattering but OMG it builds up.
I’m glad you guys are my friends. Thanks for being here through this thing.

Only because it sounds very familiar... when we moved to Texas, it's been difficult to meet with people IRL that we really identify with.
It's been the hardest part of moving here...
Let us know if we can put y'all in touch witb IRL people that are local... from what I've read, there are lots of people that would be honored to know you and your family.
At least take comfort that I know my wife would get along witb you personally... and I should know, we've been best friends for >28 years.
Take care...
@4:02 that bike cop looks over at the topless land whale and immediately regrets it

It's a sad day when you loose friends over politics. That's a reflection on them and not you. I've always found it interesting how they talk a good talk about diversity and inclusiveness yet they don't apply that same standard when it comes to people with different political or social views. With Liberals, its do as I say and not as I do. But you already know that. One of the main reasons why I left the Democrat Party years ago and never looked back or regretted doing so.
I’m curious how they think they can impeach a SCOTUS justice who hasn’t even done anything from his new position?
Does not Impeach mean infractions committed while
In office?
