    Interested in what Texas is doing to control feral hogs?

    Have some ideas.

    Would like to discuss these with someone with knowledge the problem.

    It would work better if people didn't want to charge big bucks to hunt them on their property.

    it would work better if people realized that hunting them pretty much does nothing with regards to eradication. The one-man "I have a gun, will travel" thing will never get any traction from landowners who are serious about ridding their property of hogs. They know better.

    I keep hearing about how big of a problem hogs are, but theres not much public land in Texas. I am not after a trophy just cheap meat and its not financially feasible to buy a license and lease land.

    If you're going to go out an kill an animal; have the decency to do it right and not in a cruel manner. People willing to torture animals like that need a serious ass kicking.

    This right here ^^^ I don't get it when ranchers complain about the feral hog problem, but then again most charge insane amounts to hunt in their lands.
