Remington 870 Super Magnum bought from Gander Mountain. They had a price match + 10% off deal when they first opened so I got it cheap. Don't know why but the old timer filling out the paperwork was pissed that I got such a good deal. Used those 3 1/2 inch boomers to great effect on Canadian geese and northern Midwest turkey. Still sitting in the safe.

G21. Over 21. CC for several years (growing family and other financial priorities kept the collection small for a while) but really like it. Polymer, yes. Fun and never disappointed with anything I fed it, absolutely!

Sadly, as with all of my other gun-related purchases, tragic boating and bungee jumping accidents over the years have taken their toll.

    I think I bought a Mossberg 835 Ultra Mag around 18 from a friend.

Second one was a Beretta 390 at 18 from Walmart in 1999. I still have both and have never sold a gun at 42.

    Somewhere in Texas!
My father had to pick this up, I was not yet 21, but 18. It was a Taurus 357 Magnum. The S&W 686 clone. This revolver served me well, accurate, and a fine gun. I traded for a set of rims for a 1993 S-10 extended cab. I miss the revolver and the truck!

Stoeger Luger 22 from Dillard’s in Hancock Center. Had to be around 1972, so I was over 21. Still have it and the original box and papers. Shoots pretty good and surprisingly accurate with CC MiniMags. I did a 22 day at the range with it, Browning Buckmark and my Ruger 10-22.

Ruger Mini-14 that I got after I turned 18 back in the late 90s. I had to pay it on layaway because I couldn't afford ARs at the time.

Sold it to my brother so he would have a pewpew in his apartment in Houston. He ended up needing money and sold it to a friend of his.

A used Mini-14 was my first rifle, I DO still have that one.

My first that I bought with my own money was an LMT M4 clone, when I was 21. My first gun ever was a savage 22lr semi auto rifle. My dad bought it for me when I was 13 and i still have it today!

My very first legally purchased gun was my Beretta 92 pistol and that was after my incident where I was victimized in Ca 1995. I still own it to this day in my safe. I did have other guns like my Remington 7MM Rem Magnum and Browning Auto 5 12 Gauge but they were hand me down guns from my father. Since then I got more into guns and decided to make a career out of it.
