I used to do that a lot when my dad had a tote the note lot. We sold a lot of high mileage cars and a lot of times a good cleaning is all they needed. Sometimes some little plastic dodad would be broken so it was off to the junk yard for me.
FoMoCo power blame windows have always been "weak"...the FoMoCo power door locks are worse...

I drove it through a car wash.

Because, a bit earlier, I drove it through a ditch.

    On purpose. . . . .

B/C some genius house mover had run a house into another ditch accidentally & was blocking the entire highway.

I didn’t want to be late for my meeting.

    JEEP !

Figured the seats out today. I need them as low as possible to put my eyes through the windshield. Got an inch by notching the back so it sit over the structure and got the rest I needed by cutting them and adding a bit of ghetto lean. That's about as far as I want to go with the seats until I get the floor skinned. It feels good to sit in the seat with the door closed. It really looks like a car again.

Coolant flush and fixed and axle seal leak. No time due to kids, had to pay a shop to do it.

Been trying to find a good shop to do the stuff that I don’t have time for anymore, local Christian Brothers is doing a great job earning my business.

Installed the head and a few related bits

Welded on some tow points, towed it home. pulled the 6v starter apart and ordered a few things to make it spin again.

Disco II #1 Right side ball joints out and in... now I have a leaking outer axle seal which should be fixable in like 30min once I get the seal in.

I pilled off the intake and water pump etc on the el camino. I have a cracked block. It looks like it will put a reman 350 in it. Anyone know folks who like to do engine swaps around the Houston area. I dont want to do it in my driveway.
