Finally got to drive this one today. It's been at the shop for a bit waiting for some stuff. 1994 skyline GTR. 20 years ago when I was a Ricky Racer, this was a dream.

A feller got this, mint, 38,000 miles.

I have driven a handfull of right hand drive cars. Having one in a standard is pretty neat.

This is the other GTR. I prefer to drive this one, although the magic is lost to me. This is a fine tuned machine with all the bells and whistles of the current age.

For a teen driver? Press the gas more than 1/4 and the engine dies?
In my experience it only causes the engine to perform poorly because it can't breathe. Sort of like like running and holding your breath. You suck in air but you can't exhale it so you can't go very fast. Plus it makes your transmission stay in one gear too long.

Front and rear dome lights, trunk lights and license plate lights are now all bright white LEDs for that fresh, cool "no, my car isn't really coming up on 11 years old!" look.

Doesn't look as dim and yellow as the factory bulbs.

Swapped the highs and lows for led. Replaced the fogs with a 3k led (yellow). New brake pads all the way around and a tire rotation.

Sancha is getting a panel upgrade. This avionic will replace 6 and my altitude encoder. I’ll also be able to yank the vacuum pump and save some weight up front to boot.

I can stop!! 8k miles of the factory, and crappy at that, brakes on the WRX and I had enough.

Changed pads to StopTech street performance and lines to stainless steel and motul 660 fluid….after coming across plenty of morons on my way home, I am happy to have good brakes again!

Oh, that was several. Old Blanco, Edge Falls, FM 473... couple others I forget now.

Where are these roads? They look fun!
*edit* quick maps look showed twin sisters road connecting to fm 473….is that the famed same twin sisters road I’ve heard motorcycles flock to?
